Remember the time when a stranger or a random person cared for you, in a metro or a bus. It has happened to everyone at some point in time. Remember the feeling of being special and how it made that day great, we were so happy on that day.
Feeling special is a human longing, a deep-rooted desire which is unfulfilled for the most of the time and whenever we are treated in a special way we tend to remember.
My mother calling me every night to check if I am OK, makes me feel special. My friend calling me for chai and chitchat whenever he is free, makes me feel special. My friend checking my blog for any grammatical mistakes and correcting them for me, makes me feel special. I am also grateful for the turn of events that has happened in my life which changed my life for the better, they all make me feel special.
Now let’s flip the situation and try to care for a stranger whenever we have a chance without having any expectations.
In my recent interactions with some people, I have adopted this practice and the happiness it brings to the other person is priceless. The smile they put on after getting an extra care without them asking is really awesome.
We all have that choice and should try to care for people without any expectations and you know what, since you cannot out give the universe you would be taken care by the universe too, it’s a secret most people don’t know.
