Getting It Wrong

In my recent interaction with an elderly person who is going to retire in next few years I saw something which I never wish for myself.

We were discussing on the job opportunities in IT sector, not only he was wrong about the perception he had for IT but he was so adamant that I didn’t bother to change his point of view.

With time the curiosity to learn decreases and people start to believe that they “know it all“. The moment we start thinking like that, we stop ourselves from learning new things. Learning is a continuous process, it has to be nourished otherwise we would end up like the person I met.

The reason I kept talking to get his views was I wanted to know how wrong anyone can be, it was fun and he had no idea about it.
